just a quickie question

i`v read all of the breading topic pinned and have to say it was great and thanx for having it there :D

but was curious about age and size which i didnt see noted on there

is there a minimum age/size of both male and female before they safly can be bred?

doesnt really apply to me at the moment as i think i`v got an OAP betta lol :p

but might apply to some of the other members wishing to bread

The male should be slightly bigger than the female, big enough to wrap around her but not so big that he can hurt her terribly.

Some say young bettas around 3-5 months old are perfect spawning age. IME they do the best at around 9 to 10 months old.
