There are only so many soda bottles I can have in my tank(DIY breeder box project..http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/399955-is-this-a-good-idea-for-a-diy-breeder-box/)

I want to buy some that is under $8 and I want to be able to put the mom in something so the fry will be separate from all my other fish. Obviously they have to be near the mom, but I want as many as possible babies to live. So, please suggest a box or net or something that allows separation.

I may use some of the other options after my tank population grows a lot more, so I am really interested it what you choose and why

The mother does not need to be kept near the fry but can be if she is well enough fed in many cases. I move a heavy female to a separate tank with good cover, then return her to the main tank after a drop and let the fry live in their own grow out tank.

Thats what I have been doing, but I don't want to put anymore fry in that tank. It's not that big, and there is a lot of fry in it.

If you don't have more room for fry, don't make the effort to save them. A few may make it anyway but at least you won't be creating more problems.
