Brand New to fish! How to stock a 60 Gallon Tank

First crack at trying out a hard scape.

some of these are balanced slightly precariously, do you glue your scapes together or does the water pressure keep them in place?
Attach them together with aquarium silicone, once you have the setup you like...you don't want these falling over once fish are in the tank

I wouldn't silicone them but each to their own. You can reduce aggression when adding new fish by rearranging the rock scape. Just be sensible about how you stack them.

I use pool filter sand for the substrate which is a lot cheaper and use crushed coral in filter to buffer.

You will need quite a decent large external filter such as a Fluval FX6 and do 50% water changes weekly

Thanks for the advice on the rocks guys - got a few days to work it on the kitchen table :)

Tank got delivered today, need to paint the back and then set up the sunsun 304b which comes tomorrow then pop the rocks and substrate in.

Can't get my hands on pure ammonia anywhere in Dubai. Going to fill with water and phantom feed and does stability.

How long do i feed for?
Do i start stability on the first day or wait until there are signs of Ammonia?
