After shopping around, I decided to get a 29 gallon tank with a hood, light fixture and fluorescent bulb. Oh, but that's not all. It also had a Penguin Bio-wheel 170 gph, a new heater that is very nice, and a digital thermometer! It was the best deal I've ever seen! I got all of that for only 119.99! Where I live, that is a great deal. I'm so glad I found it! I've yet to find my cichlid, but I can now start cycling and moving other fish over. I'm so happy!

:D :)

It's kind of bittersweet. I had pay for the whole thing with my own car savings. :-( Now, I might have to buy a Gremlin or something. But, it's all worth it to have a great tank with happy fish. :D

P.S.
I've noticed, looking at other tanks, that they have a lot more foliage than mine. I've always gone simply because I can never seem to get all of the poo when it's full of plants and caves. Did I miss a cleaning memo or something?

   ..cleaning memo ...
I still syphon around my plants, just gently though, the roots use up alot of the "poo" as fertilizer, but I've found that it's one of the filthiest places when I clean,I guess the roots draw all of the excess stuff to them
as for caves and such, just move them out of the way and clean underneath now and then
