I can't decide what to put in there....
It's only a 60l, so i don't want a pleco or cories in there i think it would be too small for them.
I was thinking snails or shrimp....
But has anyone got any other ideas of what i could put in there?
The tank is just for livebearers at the moment, but they are getting quite big now and i should be able to put them in the main tank, so i might be able to put discus or angels eggs in there.
The tank has a clear bottom, as i found it was easier to maintain a clean tank.

I don't think there would be any problems with keeping a group of Pygmy Cories in a 60L :good:

if i was you i would leave it the way it it is because shrimps like planted tanks and you could get a snail but the next thing you know you will have a snail problem because they reproduce fast

By snails i was thinking apple snails, and ye thats what i was thinking with shrimp, wouldn't want them feeling stressed out :(

female apple snails do store sperm however its unlikely that you will get an already pregnant one and if you do they lay eggs out of the water that you could remove. they are great little creatures and more fun to watch than you would think :)

corys would be fine for the tank size, they only get to 4-5cm. however, corys love digging in the substrate so it would be cruel to house them with a clear bottom they really need sand (which isn't that hard to keep clean, much better than gravel).

you could get away with a regular or peppermint bristlenose catfish, they don't get that large and as long as the 60L isn't a "tall" shape should be fine. a regular pleco forget it, they get enormous. put some driftwood in as the catfish need it for rasping on, also a couple of hiding places.
