Soooo at the momement i have a Fluval edge:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Im still sorting out my Nitrites so dont plan on adding anything else just yet for a while

But my question is, am i already over stocked to add a bottom feeder

Currently i have a betta and 8 neons

Also where can i find more information on these, a friend has one an its lovely, are there any very small variations?

Oh and aswell my betta has started chasing the neons round the tank in the last two days and is flairing his gills, is this something to be concerned about?

Betta's are aggresive, imparticularly in smaller tanks. If it gets too aggresive, take it out of the tank, move the ornaments about and put it back in. It will think it's in a new tank and does not 'own' the surrounding, and may not be as aggresive.

As for bottom feeders, because the tank is small. There are only a few options really. Oto's would not be suitable in my opinion. Pygmy Corydoras could be a possibility. Or some sort of shrimp and snails.

It's a pretty small tank so you've not got much to play with :good:

James.

Thanks for the reply, il look into Pygmy Corydoras

Eventually i want a bigger tank so i may wait

Dont really fancy snails :fun: The tank is in our bedroom and i dont really fancy the thought of them  Thats just me though
