Bottom feeder Feeding time

Took a few snaps of the bottom feeders at feeding time this evening.
On the menu tonight was 'Fish Treats' omnivore tablet food from 'King British'

First out was Snicket, our Lemon Spotten Green Plec (L200)
There's sand on his head because he got in the way of a burrowing Dragon Goby. Silly Snicket.

Next is Ginger, our Red tailed Sternella (L114)
He's shy and we only ever see him at feeding time, but he's a handsome chap.
That's a Peacock Goby lurking in the background.

On to one of our Striped Rubberlip Plecs (L187)
There's that darn goby again!

Now here's Twiggy, one of our Farowellas He loves to suck on a tablet.
That's one of our new Barbatus Cories in the background.

And last a sequence of photos showing that Dragon Gobies aren't always filterfeeders.

First, finding the tablet. He can't see it, but he sure can smell something good!

There it is! Mmm! smells really good!

Tastes good too!

Now if I can just pick it up...

Nearly...

Got it! and down it goes. Yum.

I love your plecos, im planning on getting a fancy plecostomus some day soon. I also love the name snicket It sorta rolls of your tonuge...all of my plecos have been named "bubba" after one I recieved from my parents who in yurn recieved it from my uncle. he was about 20 years old when he died So i continued to pass his name on to every plecosomus I have ever own. My first non-commom pleco is my "new" albino chocolate plecostomus...I still need a postive ID on him since he isnt an albino but is lighter that a regular chocolate plec that the LFS labeled him as?? But anyways.....I love your plecs!

Again Lady & sir minion i am complety jealous of all your fish and your tanks especially the bottom feeders. I'm especially gutted since my whiptail died yesterday for no apparent reason ! I love ginger and i luurve your dragon gobies! And lady since you love Wales I like you even more than before. You can come and visit us if you like theres loads of good fish shops to take you to!

L200s go for between £45 and £65 depending on size etc.... He really is a beauty and what a great name!

I havent named any of my plecs yet, maybe I should!

Snicket (so named because he's lemony- Lemony Snicket you see) is two inches long and cost us £35 from Shotgate Aquatics in Billericay Thanks for all the nice comments Guys & gals!
