Make sure to get a conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramine, AND ammonia. Most cities add chloramine now (because it doesn't dissapate like chlorine) and if it just says it removes chloramine, and not chloramine and ammonia, it will convert the chloramine to ammonia and really mess up your water levels.

Municipally supplied tap water is, by law, tested several times daily, every day. Records, by law, must be kept. The regulating of bottled water companies is nowhere near as stringent. Doubling up on dechlorinator does no harm, double dose & use tap water.
