Hi
question about gravel substrate and the "Botia" family of loaches.
Obviously, sharp is bad.But what about size of gravel, will large but smooth gravel cause damage?
Looking for a bottom dwelling shoal of fish,I've got Dorset pea at the moment, about 3-4mm in size but not sure i want to change it.

3mm Dorset gravel is fine, any smaller and you'd have sand,

I have the same and presently have 6 clowns, 2 blue, 1 Lohachata and 1 Kubotai

Actually scratch that, it's not that small.Thinking about it, more like 6-10mm (bit of a difference from first guess-not had enough coffee yet).
