Wheres the cheapest place to buy bog wood online? I need quite a bit to fill a tank approx 450 litres.

I intend on keeping firemouths and clown loaches so want quite a bit to privide plenty of shelter

Any help appreciated

Are these a reasonable price?

They are not unreasonable compared to similar products in the US. I never pay that much since I get all of mine at club auctions. I even have 3 pieces right now that are not in any tank at all. They are still in the sale bags where I bought them.

You will get them cheaper on Ebay - just be patient and look for bargains. There are always plenty put up for sale on there all shapes and sizes, and the best thing is you wont have brown water if they are already used. :good:

there are normally a few pieces in our classified section of the forum too at decent prices. buying second hand as with most things is usually much cheaper than lfs prices

As mentioned keep an eye on ebay. About 4 wks ago there was a piece 4' x 2', lds of intersecting branches, said it weighed 25kg, went for £35. I had put in a max bid of £30.

I found a great deal at Swallow Aquatics in Rayleigh Essex. A massive pice, big enough for my new 400 litre tank, for £19.99. Duno if it was mispriced but a snapped it up.
