Just wanted to show off my bog filter. The tree looking plants are red mangroves. I also have dumbcane, Pothos, Chinese evergreen, and peace lilies.

Nice plants.

Sorry if I seem ignorant here, but are these plants part of your aquarium, like a filter, just as Munroco asked?

Would be great if you can provide more about this, as I know very little of this ty[e of planting.

Do yu mind if I ask if how are they planted?

Do you use ferts?

I might be intersted in doing this myself if I can get the info on how this is done.

I use a 125 watt CFL. I found not use ferts. They are in a box hanging off the tank pumping water in. The plants root into the water. They perform a little filtering. I am more interested in the roots providing food and space for microorganisms to grow.
