my bN's are a mating pair and there don't have the bits on the tops of there head 
are 100% shaw it isnt bacterial have you treated them, it might look like something else but that DOS'NT mean IT is something else i would check to make sure, and you say you do a water change every day how big is the tank, there might be suffering due to the continuing change in ph and tempurture in the water.
have a loom on the millions of BN websites there is do some reading you might find the answer
