about 1cm and about 2 months. Who is the seller? I had some off an ebay seller that were healthy but a fair bit smaller than described last year.

or do you know anywhere else where i could get them. coz my lfs wont order them in for me coz i got them to order in cockatoo cichlids and they ordered in 20 and all of them where females and now the laidy that orders the fish wont oredr in anythink else for me coz i wouldnt buy thm and got a pair of Apistogramma agassizii from another shop so i aint going bk there

Different seller from the one I bought off so maybe ok.
Have you tried aquarist classified? There are often people on there with bn's for sale, there are also a few plec forums with members who specialise in breeding BN's - different types including longfins.

That is what fish shipment is. And that is wrong of the lfs to do that to you. They sold you a "pair" and you got 2 females. It would be right to boycott them.
