i have a gibby and a common that i will be re-homing to my gf's 125

i went to the store to buy some bn plecos because i think they are really cool

they were asking 25$ canadian, is this a bad price??

Don't know about Canada, but I paid $18 a piece for our albino bristlenose plecos here in NE Ohio...which some thought was high...but I haven't seen them anywhere else, so I paid the price.

albino BN's cost more than normal coloured one's.

but $25 ! bit high to me, i got mine for 3 for £10.

:good:

I paid £ 4. 95 each for mine, but then they were a good size, I could have got babies for much less, but wanted a sexable pair.

This is probably not too relevant because I am in Australia but they seem to range from about $5-$15 depending on size in my LFS. Maybe up to $20 if they are fully mature.

I got mine at Aquarium Adventure which is almost always higher than anywhere else for 8.50$ in NE Ohio at about 1.5". Kimmers what store did you buy yours at?

I came across some albino BN's at my local lfs this week - paid £20 for 3, 1 male/2 females, normally priced up to £15 each ! Sometimes pays to be a regular - result :D (My hubby thinks the male looks like something out of the Alien films, lol

I also got mine at aquarium adventure Atmmachine. I hadn't seen them anywhere else.....where else have you seen them?

I got 2 for £5.00, and got a fully grown one for free off my brother! :good:

i have too pay £16 for one about 1" such a bad price IMO where do you get yours dwarfgourami?

Blinkin' heck - in this country as well, that's extortion! At Trimar you can get babies for £1.99 (mine was £2 from LFS) and a tenner delivery, makes sense to get three and delivery and flog the rest to others who can't afford your LFS. Can't believe that!

i paid £11.99 for mine, 3.5 inch adult wild caught, wanted a cheapo baby one but they didnt have any left, the one i got is great though, had a whitespot outbreak and he wasnt even affected, one of only two fish to survive it. Great fish.
