Bn Plec (Eating)

i have 1 bn plec but i have a problem with feeding him/her
when i put the algea pellet in my barbs always go for it and he never gets a look in
i know you are supposed to feed them extra so what should i do
i have also tried lettace and cucumber but did not go for that either
what should i do

Try feeding right before switching off the light for the night.

Ive never known one that didnt eat courgette!

i feed mine every other day on courgette which they happily munch away at and alternate that with algae wafers

Took mine a couple few days to start eating regularly but now they are gluttons. As everyone said, wait til lights out when your Barbs are higher in the tank and hanging out and sneak it down the side.

I throw in the food for my tigerbarb and others first, and while they eat, i drop a pellet for my pleco.

It didn't take long for the pleco to realize that while the others were having a frenzy at the top, there'd be food for'im at the bottom.

But i guess there's more than one way to Rome...
