One of the local LFS has these in, and they havent shifted in months. They've stayed the same size at a few inches long, and I'm tempted by them (probably because I'm after halfbeaks but can't find any anywhere!).

I'm struggling to find decent info. The tropicaltank has some info of them growing giant, but I've seen other sites say small.

Anyone know of these or keep them?

have you got a latin name for them that would me know what sort of fish you are talking about as some fish go by many different names.

:good:

Ctenolucius hujeta

they grow around 10inches, are aggressive eat smaller fish need a tank of (i duno i'm going by what i think they should have on this so don't belive the tank size part) i'd say 60g, pH netural temperature around 26 degrees c, tank set-up with some plants and rocks and wood if you wish
