Yes that's them.

I went back Today to get some Oxy Tabs. He still had some so I got 2 just to see how they mix. They are much larger than neons, and have lovely white tipped fins.

Very sparkly when the light hits them right. But Very Diff to take pix of. Just as fast as Danios.

Hi psgill00 :)

They're lovely fish. I don't remember ever seeing them around here though.

How are they doing?

The picture Lateral Line posted is really nice specimen brilliant color with nice well conditioned female(probably). I see them at store, but I don't see them in 1/2 as good shape as the picture. Usually sickly skinny duller colored fish. I know they are skinnier tetra since they are speedy swimmer. And I heard they require oxygen rich water so I decide not to give a try. Since my tank is how can I put this, well stocked already. And if I decide to get some tetra, I would get them school of 6 or more and not a pair.
So I guess I should save up money for more tank, preferably bigger tank.
So anyway, I tend to keep eyes on the smaller side of tetras. And I saw 2 small tetras I like recently at the store, one is sold as ember tetra and the other was sold as white star tetra which I found out that Axelrodia stigmatias but I think I saw some Axelrodia riesei which have more nice red color.

Here is the good picture although web site is in mostly Japanese. It seems those new unique tetras goes to Japan faster than around here.

What do you think? I found out that they stay smaller than Neon.
