does anybody know about blue crabs? i was thinking about getting one at the supermarket and keeping it. are they fresh, brackish, or salt water?

need to be more specific. there is a saltwater crab known as the blue crab, but i have found nothing o keeping it in an aquarium.
there is also a Japanese freshwater blue crab, but again no information on keeping them, both are omnivores, and the salt-water variant gets big.

well thats a female Blue crab, they are sea/estury dwellers. there is much information about the catching and eating of these but none on keeping them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bets tale it home and put it in the pot.
