i put blue up and it just looked a funny shade of green - the yellow leached from the wood has tinted the water

stuck with black.

I'll try and get some closer pics.. any requests?

That really bright neon blue background is just horrid in my opinion.........

I really like the black......you could get some interesting exotic plants or something and put a few against the back glass to perk up the black a little???

I really like your gravels. Where did you get them? I just bought 50 pounds of gravel from Lowes but now I'm thinking its way too light Beautiful tank btw. I'm jealous

already on on - i now have java fern and a few others tied to the wood on the right. the sword is doing well too.

just need to shake the hair algae

it was just gravel from the lfs... used it in the small tank too.

next one is going to be light sand though

I think blue backgrounds on fish tanks always look good as it makes it look more aquatic.
