Blue acaras

So I have a pair of acaras 1 ture blue and 1 electric blue

I now have fry can anyone tell me weather the fry will be true blue or electric blue

No? You can't tell wether or not the fry will be blue or electric blue. All you can do is find out which is the dominant and which is the recessive gene and work out a probability for each fry from there. Some will be blue some will be electric blue.

If one color is recessive then fry will all have the same (dominant color).

I don't know for sure it is about dominant and recessive in this case cause electric is man made / linebred and not occuring in the wild as albinism / melanism.

I expect the fry to "go back" to natural color and loose the electric part. But not sure.

Guess I'll just see how the fry get along and be Surprised at the outcome.
 
All the fry will be normal blue acaras with a recessive electric blue gene.
