blu water?

i know sometimes fish stores add a tablet that either increases the oxygen in the cup (or bag) or it slows the fishes metablism so the dont breath so much. at some places, walmart bettas are very druged, and you dont really see what you have untill you get home. thankfully my walmart doesnt do that. :dunno:

its methylene blue (or some knock-off of it). they have a greater chance of dying if they are not in that stuff.

yes its methylen blue, and its a disease and bacteria preventative as well as stress reducer for fish, it isnt bad for them and will not drug them..the wlamarts that do this are actually taking better care of their fish then the ones who dont.

yea... its like a bowl buddy type thing..

not a bad thing.. the wal mart bettas are just weak.. the blue stuff should help them... theyre better off with it... i know the ones ive bought with it have all survived... and the ones without have usually died (from petcetera)

where im at..walmart is not a good place to buy fish, everytime i go in there to buy fake plants or whatever i always look at their fish and over half of them are at the bottom dead in every tank, i never see anyone that works there over by the pet area, when i went in there once, they had a betta stuck to the filter and was still alive so i opened the tank and took him off it, it was so sad
