I can't even get my plant bulbs to flower anymore. They need to be kept cool over winter to flower in spring and summer but with the warmer weather, the plants just stay in growing mode. I had 1 Hippeastrum flower last summer and nothing else :(

I don't have a fridge to put them in and they aren't even shrinking back like they used to do in autumn. About the only way I can think of fixing this is buying a cool room and putting the plants in that. Alas I can't afford a cool room and don't have anywhere to keep it.

If I don't get those bulbs out of the soil in late fall, I put a lot of leaves on the soil to keep the ground pprotected against freezing.

Do you have any deer where you are? Or anything that eats the flowers? Those flowers wouldn't last one night over here.

Beautiful !!! What is the blue one that looks like a "clock" ?

Here, we have Squirelzzzzzzzzz...

That shaft, vandalize, steal, invade, squats, scam and murders everything. They dig tulips bulbs if not in check.

Only the blue jays stands in front of them, every time... They are not as numerous as before. But when they want the bath, nobody bothers them.

We do have deers but not in our town. Where I live we don't really have animals that will eat flowers.

The white flower with the blue in the middle is a passion flower.
