i dont have any questions nor need any advice just figured i would share this (what i think to be) a rather strange story.
i had a 10 gallon fish tank with gravel..one day i decided to try feeding my fish live bloodworms, first time ive ever fed my fish bloodworms sooo i kind of over fed my fish..a lot by accident ofcourse. after i did this my water was cloudy and it wreaked incredibly bad. i did a water change about a week later with a gravel vac and as i was cleaning the gravel a huge ball of bloodworms about the size of a large marble came out from underneath the gravel. i was amazed and thought that would be the end of my bloodworm troubles because after that my water cleared up and the stench went away, or so i thought..
i decided to upgrade my tank, i went big from a 10 gallon straight to a 55 gallon..instead this time i used sand. broke down the 10 gallon took the gravel out and left it in a bowl to dry out for about 2 months. i had a betta fish in a small 1 gallon tank and want to give him more space so i set up the 10 gallon tank again same gravel as was in it before..as i was pouring water into the tank you would never believe it..what do i see!? a single bloodworm swimming around the tank..not even dead and floating but yes it was very much alive and well..
i have heard some strange stories about people frozen bloodworms coming back to life but this i think is just amazing
any comments on this??
