Blood Red Muchroom Not Looking Happy

Its a bitter sweat discussion. Good to get info, not one I like writing about though.

TI, during this time a few of my larger snails have died, would this be because of the wrong salt etc, or could it just be that I could have brough old ones.... Thanks

It is probably the change in the Salt. As you have had to increase the increase the calcium over a period of time and have swapped salts so that levels are better, it is likely that the snails were sensitive to the change. They can be extremely sensitive and I lost a fair few when I moved from one tank to the other, despite reacclimatising them for 2-3 hrs.

It is also possibly the hawkfish. Time will tell on that score.

Now that everything is where is should be (for people reading this thread one ting I would suggest is get the right salt causes less stress from the start). Whe do you think I will be able to add my next coral. I don't want to add ones to early. My Zoa is doing great, so I was thinking of another Zoa & a Ricordia, will read up on the book first & won't gt one till you guys think its OK due to mushroms issus  But initaill will get cacium up alittle more first.

Once again many thanks for your help.
