hi all
ive already asked this question but put it in wrong section
i will try again lol ive got a 4ft juwel tank with a blood parrot
already just wondering if i could add some more ive been told in my lfs
one or three but not two some advice would be good thanks

u could add one or two

how many gallons.. that would help

I don't see the problem with having only two... I think that size tank would be ok for 2, but not for 3. One of my LFSs sometimes has a few tanks with two BPs in them and there don't seem to be any problems :dunno:

thanks for the replies i was told not 2 because of bullying when they
older not sure what else 2 put in if i only stick with 1 bp

If you go with 1 blood parrot you can add a group or two of a large schoaling fish. Rainbows, giant danios, or tough tetra's (black skirts, serpaes, columbians, etc.) will all work. Add enough to make a real shoal (at least 10). This is a great way to make an active tank without stressful inter-cichlid aggression.

Two will work if they turn out to be compatable, but it could be nothing but problems if they aren't. If you go with two, I'd forget the dither idea, there just wouldn't be room.

Congos are big but too skittish, they'll be left alone but won't be happy.

ok thanks for advice just taking my time with what fish im having
thats all
