This is Nici ( vips girlfriend) That bb is my fish and i adore her i constantly want to pinch her cheeks they always look like their up to something and has a permanant smile .Everytime i clean out the tank she always comes to me at her defense and "tries" to bite me they feel more like kisses to me. When i turn the lights off at night you should she her go nuts when i put my face up to the tank or the fish net .
How can people hate them

I have 3 Jellybean Parrots. (Blood Parrot x Convict) I love them to death too! They each have a differant personality. Mine are not dyed and it looks that your fish isn't dyed either. I have no idea why people hate the poor things! Don't take out your anger on the fish, because it's not their fault. Take it out opn the crazy scientists who made them. And a lot of myths have come up about these fish. Here are a few myths:
1. They cannot eat from the surface because of the way their mouth is deformed.
Not True at all, mine always eat from the surface.
2. They must constanly swim to keep balance because of their deformed swim badder.
Again, completely wrong. Mine are always standing still in the middle of the tank, perfectly ballanced.
3. They are all dyed.
Not True. I got mine when they were still juveniles. they had brown, black and white patterns. Then those colors started to fade and then new colors showed up. Now I have a pink one, an orange one and a orange/red one. And I never hired any scientist to come dye them for me. Those are the natural colors that came naturaly.

They are very good fish. Don't take out the crazy and mad ideas of humans out on them.

lol ron, put up some pics! i will post pics soon on how the BP goes nuts even at the site of the net outside the tank, over the months its started to attack it. its the midas coming in it lol, just a little tuffy!

I would love to get 2 things on video to show you.
1st is how nuts she goes when you put the cat upto the window, she full on attacks it.
2nd is how she charges at my oscar and head butts it, i mean she rams it hard! my oscar tilts back! thats how hard she hits him!
