Yeah so my two blood parrots laid eggs. Well one is an orange and the other is a parrot but instead of oranges its like olive green with think black stripes. I don't know what to do and I want to this to work out so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Breeding in blood parrots is very rare as a high percentage of males are infertile! You could be lucky and have a pair! Is there any other fish in the tank?

Hey, Evan, it's Trent!

:hi: to TFF!!!!

Some members that know more about this will surely give you some good info soon!

Is this tank in your dorm? If so, I will have to come over and check it out sometime after CAD!

BPs pair up and lay eggs very frequently, even with other species. But the chances that the eggs are fertile are slim to none.

I took the two other fish out. So which one would be the male? what are the breeding roles of the male and females?

I thought maybe the chances would be better because one is not full blood parrot.
