Bloated Siamese Algae eater

Just wondering if anyone knows what might be wrong with my Siamese algae eater? He's been bloated for nearly 2 days now but is eating fine and is acting normally. I don't think it's dropsy though. The nitrate levels in the tank have been pretty bad lately so wondering if it's something to do with that (rest of fish seem fine though.) Thanks

Sorry I know you posted this awhile ago but your Siamese algae eater could just be constipated or bloated. What does his poop look like, how is he swimming, or has he gotten better?

Hi thanks for the reply. He's swimming fine but I haven't seen him poop for a while. He isn't as bloated as he was though

Well thats good. I would do some water changes and keep doing what you have been doing.
