Bloated Neon Tetra - Diagnosis Needed Please

I think you're right, but unfortunately I only have 5 neons at the moment. I don't have enough left for a proper school, but I don't want to buy any more until know they wont get sick anymore.

All this time I've been wanting to get more neons but the guppys keep multiplying and I didn't want to overstock the tank. It's been so complicated.

Can someone tell me what concentration of clove oil to use to effectively euthenase a neon tetra?

I searched and searched through this forum for more answers to my neon's problem and I found two more threads about the exact same symptons:

and

The commonality here is that these bloated fish do not have dropsy (no pinecones) and are not suffering colour loss. Lifespan during the disease is also pretty long. My fish has been bloated for about 3 weeks and is still swimming and eating.

I'm going to try an epson bath, but I think it'll be a bit stressful. I already tried peas but only the guppies were interested in eating peas, and they already poop plenty.

This neon tetra bloating thing seems common enough, but no one knows what it is.

With ntd a fish can last quite a while bloated up.
Can you take a pic of the tetra with the blotchy white marks on the red stripe.

Just a few drops of clove oil is said to be enough, or a quik bash. Sorry for your loss. :(
