Bloated Molly Female

I have a normal Female Molly that has over the last week bloated to exploding point
We have massaged her belly and still she is bloated
She still is swimming around OK
Any idea whats going on

I'm no expert on these things yet but am sure massaging the fish may stress it out even more.

Hope you get the problem sorted as I am sure someone on here will have a suggestion.

I don't think many fish get a massage in the wild tho!

I don't think massaging a mollies belly would help,you may remove the slime coat that protects the fish...

She may be pregnant?,
She may have dropsy,are her scales sticking out?

Can you put a pic up of her?

Massaged. It only helps on trap wind.

What do you feed the fish.
Are scales sticking out.
How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

All you can do is epson salt baths to help draw the fluids out.
Feed some shelled peas.
Don't feed for a few days.

Here is a photo of this fish
The scales look normal
Its anus is very large
And it seems happy enough and not laying on the bottom

The anus can also look enlarged with dropsy, but also in can be a indication of internal parasites.

Signs of internal parasites are.
Long stringy white poo, clear mucas poo, or red poo.
Enlarged anus, or red inflamed anus.
Worms prutruding from the anus.
Sometimes bent spine.
Sometimes the fish will swim of it's side.
Sometimes the fish will flick and rub.
Sunken in belly.
Spitting food out and not eating.

She really bloated bless her. That's the most bloated fish I have ever seen.
Any lumps beneath the skin.

I think I would treat for internal parasites.
Also epson salt baths to help with the bloating.

Well the big fat fish is slowly getting smaller
Epsom Salt Baths and cooked Pea meat
No real signs of Poo
Well large poo that is
She is in a birthing tank in the main tank

The girl is well again
she had some terrible poo poos
And lost her big fat belly
