I have seen 3 BH's in a 14gal with other tetras which were very aggressive to the other fish. They also go berserk like pirana at feeding time, so you can keep these with slow feeders like pencilfish as they will slowly starve. One cool game by BH's used to play was "how's got the pellet" races around the tank. Was awesome to watch. The dominant males also get HUGE and develop very pretty long flowing dorsal fins.

Hiya,

No expert on them, but my mom got some, they looked slow and faded when i got to see them on the day she bought them, anyways, she had 6 then 2 died, shock/illness (though no ecterior signs of problems and no seemingly internal parasite signs)

Well the started to get a big bullyish, so i got her (from another lfs) 4 more

From then on the original survivors calmed down and now contently zub around the tank minding their own business he he

So maybe add a few more if you can to lower the aggression ?

Tony
