Blasted Suction Cup!

I have a power head that is held on by a suction cup... it keeps falling out of the suction cup though, plummeting to the bottom. Is there any way to fix this??? I'm afraid to hook it up right now for fear of it cracking the tank and/or killing something.

a suction cup or suction pad ? if its a pad most places sell suction pads.. i got some a few days ago from pets at home. if its a cup... im not sure what a suction cup is... but im guessing you can always tape the wire from your powerhead onto the tank so it cant move at all.

Suction cup... suction pad? Aren't they the same thing? Anyway, you can buy magnets that attach to your powerheads, and the other side goes on the outside of your tank.

get a cheap tank cleaning magnet , and mod it to fit your powerhead. that is what i am doing at the moment anyway

you can buy specially made magnet things. Sure-grip makes them in america....

I feel like such an idiot now!!! I got the box out and found a little piece that can be attached to hang it from the side of the tank. It makes the hood not sit flush with the top, but at least it's staying put.
I may still check out the magnet thing though just to make it look better.
