Blackwater Extract

Any thoughts on Tetra's Blackwater Extract? I have used it in the past, I thought to good effect....thinking of adding it now to a tank with tetras and maybe rams. Presently have plastic plants.

I have never used it. I am intrested in it, as peat, drift wood, or chemicals have not succsefully lowerd my pH by more than like, .4
