Blackwater aquarium questions

Do you know for certain that they don't use weed killer or any insecticides in the park? That is the biggest risk of collecting leaves in a public place.
I don’t think they use any insecticides or weed killer, I would’ve seen it if they use them as my house are next to the park and I would’ve seen it if they used any cause I’m stuck in my home for almost a year now, you know wih the Thailand Covid situation.
we only have 60 deaths but government want us to stay in the house.

I just done another water changes and after finished I realize that theres blood in the water-it’s from my finger wound :S

Is it safe to clean a tank while theres a medication on my finger?

Should I do another water changes? @Colin_T

What sort of medication is on your finger?

You don't want to get aquarium water on open wounds because some disease organisms can get into the wound and cause an infection. Make sure you wash your hands with soapy water after working in the tank. Avoid working in the tank if you have cuts or scratches on the skin.

It’s a betadine med.

50% of my legs and arms are scars, wound appears everytime after I go for a jogging or cycling, mostly because of my clumsiness

If the betadine was dry it should be fine. Betadine is iodine and alcohol and a small amount shouldn't be an issue in a reasonable sized tank.

Just monitor the fish and if they act nervous or skittish (panicky), or they start gasping at the surface or breathing heavily, then do a water change but they should be fine.

What should I do with this dead leaves particles and detritus worms in the tank?

I left leaves in the tank for about a weeks and it seems slippery
is there any thing I should be worried about regarding worms, particles and slippery leaves?

The leaves become slippery because of bacteria and fungus growing on them, it's normal.

You can wipe the glass down and do a water change to try and remove the particles from the water. I wouldn't worry too much.

What about the worms?

They are probably coming out of the substrate due to the tannins. A water change and gravel clean will probably get rid of them. They aren't anything to worry about but are an indication they don't like something in the water.
