Black Slate

Hi i am a builder and am currantly working for a customer who is having a patio made from black slate. i have spoken to them and asked if i could have some pieces for my tank but i just wanted to know if the slate would be ok in my tank. it is a tropical tank 270litre with mainly Guppy tetra two clown loach two bristlenose and a few others.

Yeah should be fine, i work in the aquatics department at the local garden centre and we use the garden slate in many of our tanks,
