Where abouts in uk are you from? Wayside aquatics do do the same kind of black sand/small gravel in 25kg bags and its in the sale at the moment for £25, collection only though from essex. Link

This is a really nice little shop They are undergoing some major refurbishment at the moment to extend the shop, still open for business though.

Which one is Wayside, the one that keeps changing owners, that you pull in and it's on the left and there is a pet shop next to it on the right? Off the main road from Ongar to Brentwood?

Dont think i know that one. Wayside is in a kind of small village, doesnt look like there would be a LFS there at all, its in the middle of a row of houses.
