Livestock: Rare black variant of the stocky-type-shell MTS (Malaysian Trumpet Snail) Tarebia Granifera. Kept it about 9 months now. Grows to about 1.5cm (one of the smallest varieties of MTS there is), burrows in substrate, eats a ton of algae (yes MTS really eat algae), never eats live plants, burrows in the substrate, and is just darn beautiful. Picked up from an amazing pet-shop at a train station in Switzerland. Have never seen this snail before or since. I keep them at PH 6.5, KH 6, 22C and 26C (two separate tanks), though have spiked them to 34C on a hot day in London with no ill effects.
