hi! my sister has decided to get a adult butterfly black moor to put in with her common / comet goldfish but i don't think it's a good idea because of the eating problems - the black moor has a double tail which makes them slower swimmers right??? and they have funny eyes so they can't see food as easily. does anyone agree / disagree with me and why??? thanks!!! :good: (oh and the common / comet goldfish are over half a foot long)

i would say it's safer not to :good:

my sister wants to know why (she doesn't trust me when it comes to fish)

As you already stated, the black moor could struggle to get food. The comet could also nip the moors tails.:good:
I keep 4 adult Black Moore's with (around) 20 Commets in an outside pond..... They are thriving.....

When in groups results will be different to one and one in a tank. And every fish's tempremant is different
