Hard to capture but here is what I got. I also included her “good” side

After thorough examination it appears her lips are deformed. Not sure if they got injured with her eye. Sometimes the fish appear to have some white around the edges due to my LED lighting. So very difficult to say if her lips have white by them or just the lighting. It is more apparent in her black color. Does that make sense?

Her lips do look different. If the eye is still swolIen, I think I would go ahead and get some API Furan-2 and use it according to package directions. She may have a bacterial infection and the Furan is good for that. If there are other fish in the tank you can treat her in a quarantine tank. Plastic Sterlite containers from Walmart are good as QT tanks. Keep us posted.

Note: Do the lips look fuzzy at all or just white?

It is really weird, it doesn’t look fuzzy just deformed. I attached more photos. How long do I put her in QT? Also there would be no filter or heat, is that ok?

I’s Treat in the tank then. If it’s bacterial it’s better to treat tank anyway. I have never had Furan-2 mess with my cycle.

Do a water change before adding meds. No more salt.

If I treat the entire tank with furan 2 will it do anything to the other fish or snails or plants? Should I remove the plants? I have sword, platy, Molly, guppies, Betta & baby mollies in Breeder. Nerite snails. Thanks!! I will do treatment tomorrow, not in stores near me so had to order it. Also looks like treatment will discolor tank so maybe 50% water change when done? Thanks!!!
Or is it better to QT & just treat her? But that goes back to her in a container with no filter & no heater for a few days...

It should be safe for everything but you may read up on fry. I have used it with snails. The instructions will tell you when to do the water changes.

This fish is crazy. Now her good eye is not bulging out but has a white ring around it & 2 white spots above mouth. I am nervous to treat the whole tank tomorrow so thinking I will take her out & try to just treat her. I enclosed better pics. Has anyone seen this before? I just added voogle to the tank. I usually add this whenever I add a new fish.

I don’t think so. No spots on tail & no other fish have the spots. With ich can you just have spots on nose?

It can start anywhere with just one spot. It then spreads. Not sure this looks like ich though. @Colin_T what do you think?

I would find out what the GH and pH are. Make sure the GH is 250ppm+ and the pH is above 7.0.
Then I would put a heap of salt in the tank.

The white spots/ marks look more like excess mucous.

Have any new fish been added to the tank in the last 2 weeks?
If not, then it is highly unlikely to be whitespot.
