Black Gravel

Is black pained gravel the only type of black gravel or can you get natural black gravel.


If you can't could you make it by crushing up slate

Dont think there is much in the way of naturally dark gravel.

I Used to have what was a very dark slate like gravel, made by Hagen, think it was Geosystem? Somthing like that... looked fantastic... but they havent made it in 3-4 years

I used to use this stuff. Didn't seem painted to me it's a nice small grain too

Pets at home has some black gravel, it's called Roman black or so. If this is what you mean.

Think the OP was looking for natural stuff, not plastic or dyed/painted black gravel.

Think you will find a few companies doing dark and possibly black, most likely places selling aquascaping stuff?
