I was thinking it was ich. But none of my other fish have the white spots. I haven't added any salt because I have oscars with him. Anybody experienced with blacked finned sharks? If so have u seen this before and what caused it?

Does it look like grains of salt on the body and fins? If so, this will be white spot.

Although only one fish is showing signs, the whole tank will need to be treated. There are a number of ways to do it. Some do not use medications and simply up the tempature to 82F as this speeds up the life cycle and perhaps add aquarium salt (1 rounded tablespoon per 19 litres).

Another option is to up the tempature to 82F and treat with an ich medication.

Either way, please be sure to treat for at least 14 days. The life cycle of the parasite is 21 days although this will be speeded up by the highter tempature. Ich will only be effected by meds/salt when it is in the 'free swimming' stage which is after the spots disappear. So, it's even more important to treat when the spots go, even though some think they are in the clear!

There is also a pinned topic in the beginner or emergency section, I am not quite sure which, that you could have a look at.

You say you won't add salt because of an oscar, I wasn't aware that they were intollerant. But then, I have never kept them ;) I do know that ,most advise against using salt with loaches and catfish.
