Black Dots On Sand ? White Dots On Glass?

I will try get a pic but these things are tiny as a pin point!!

They are black dots on stand and even on hermit crab ??? white dots are bigger and can see them moveing!!

are these pods? is it bad haveing soo meny in my display tank???

Not sure on the black dots but if the white dots have legs (like tiny starfish) then they could be hydroid jelly fish. They tend to be low in the food chain and will soon get eaten.

If they have no discernible legs then they are just copepods/isopods and again just serve as food once there is livestock in the tank.

if the dots on your glass are hard then they are prob tubes created by worms ive got millions...
