Black Convicts

Hello i just bought my new pair of black convicts that are only 2.5" and a 3" flowerhorn in a 125 gallon.Would they be ok with the big open space for them 3? and what other fishes can i put with them in the 125 gallon?

That's plenty of space, but when the convicts breed they will become very aggressive. I'm not sure if there is anything else to add. Maybe other aggressive cichlids that can hold their own.

i have a jewel rio 400 with a breeding pair of convicts and i have 4 angels 3 firemouths 2 jewels and a plec you can tell who owns the majority of the tank but so long as you have plenty of little caves and stuff like that the other cichlids have their own territory that they look after and defend good look anyway the third convict will be no use soon if 2 pair up and enjoy as i do
