Yes Cardinals are notorious to acclimatise......

I wouldnt consider buying them online because of the extra stress of being parcelled off means you will be carrying the loss of transport not the LFS.

Speaking of LFS, I live in cambridge and am very happy with the Coral Cave in hardwick - great selection, good 7 day guarantee, open until 7 every night, and if you live in St.Neots it shouldn't be too far away.......

neons are usually a lot cheaper - about £1 each

you guessed it, when you buy 15, three of those 15 you get for nothing, controversial i know...

i think neons are 95p at my local

but anyway, as no one said anything after my other post, i'll do it again, my local says his cardinals are wild caught, not farmed like his neons, is this the norm for cardinals ?

They are supposed to by quite difficult to breed, so I suppose it's less trouble to just go out and catch them.
