Bit Of A Worry

I aint seen 1 of me fish for over a day and previously he seemed to be hoverin near the surface alot. I've looked around in the tank @ the lil places he could of got in but no sign. I've been usin the net back over my siphon pipe since I had the siphoned fish incident so dunno whats happened. I've disturbed some of the artificial plants etc, but to no avail. Don't want to disturb things too much, but worried if the worst has happened it could effect the water chemistry and health of other fish.

Any ideas?

It's a guppy

I did some more checkin and really no sign of him @ all. V strange.

Water stats? Usually if you cant find them it means they have died and been eaten.

I did a nitrate test earlier and that was 20 - 40 ppm

I can check others in a sec

Can a fish be eaten that quick? It wasn't a tiny fish or anythin and would danios and guppies do that anyway?

Edit: Ammonia and Nitrite is 0 ppm

You would be surprised at how fast a fish can disappear. Sometimes it can happen over the course of a few hours.
