Hey all, I have seen several avatars and such with PPL's fids (featherd kids) in them, and Thought I would start a post cause I LOVE birds, I AM going to be an Avian Vet (aka, bird vet) and LOVE talking to other bird ppl, even though I am part of other bird fourms, I still would like to know who has one! SO WHO DOES? I have a wonderfull, spoiled, cuteie pie little cockatiel, that I love to death, she is sitting on my shoulder right now giving kisses, LOL here is a pic, OH, if you have one, PLEASE SHOW PICS!

cute bird you have in your photo,if you go to page 2 of household pets you will find a post from me saying parrot drinkin milk, my bird kid is 3yrs old hand reared and called roamer,she lives in a 5ft cage in my lounge and has a great view of my tank which i have opposite her cage,she loves all the family and has no favorites which makes my life easier because when she comes out shes kind to everyone,mind you she has never bitten once, she loves to sit on my hand under the mixer tap then hops on to a towel to dry off .

Very pretty birds. I would love a bird. I fell in love with a cockatiel at the pet store who was handfeed so he was super tame. I'd love to get one when I move.

OH WOW JESSICA!!! lets see in the first pic, on the left is a green cheek conure mutation of a sort right? or is it a maroon bellied, anyways and the one on the right is a blue throat conure and the one on the bottom is a umm i cant think of the name... is it a jardines parrot, I bet im wrong but.....

Here are my feathered loves
I love birds but have never been too good with them thanks to a very bitey (not nippy, BITEY) 'tiel I had as a kid, hoping to change that with these two... of course, one of them is very bitey as well . I still love him though and he is getting better... I think.

Petri -- he loves to give kisses, sit on your shoulder, and listen to you talk, but put your hand near him and he will try his very best to draw blood. He's very handsome though

These are my 2 lovebirds. They live in diffrent parts of the house as they are in being trained right now. They have both gone to schools to teach about pet care along with my poor betta and other pets. I also have a parrotlet coming in April and I have my eyes open for a Amazon that is going to fit our livestyle.
