I have noticed hadly anyone has posted anything much about birds. Anyone have any? I have 2 Budgies. My favourite pets. :D

Had 3 Budgies, but now have 2 Cockatiels, and I'm taking in a rescue Blue Fronted Amazon this week.

i have a great little quaker parrot that I raised from 2 weeks old. I love him his name is bogie...

My mums got a yellow budgie called joey

Here's a pic of my little boy Relish, he had just finished his bath when I took this photo  Poor little guy is going to the vet tomorrow to have his beak and nails trimmed :( I picked up a couple new toys and some honey bars so he wont stay mad at me for too long

My favorite are my Quakers!! I have 2, I love them what great personlaities they have. I also have 2 parakeets, 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 turtles and my fish of course!! :p

a couple of years ago i had 2 birds, not sure what kind they were until one day on a snowy day, none of my 2 birds were in my cage, when i had searched around i found them in the basement dead :( :( it was so sad. our family had kept them in good shape and they live for a good 5-6 years

*sigh* I had a Budgie for about 11 years! (I'm 18) can you believe that? He was the SWEETEST. His name was Orville. He only let me and my dad pet him, and he only tolerated it. He hated having head scratchies, but he loved baths. He didn't like any food other than his seed. Sometimes he'd fall into my cereal in the mornings, but I don't think he enjoyed that either. haha! He was blue and black with a smidge of yellow. I found him dead about a month ago when I got back from my grandmother's. I miss him. We want to get another bird, but our Jack Russell would surely attempt to take it as a snack, so we're holding off.

I have two pairs of budgies, Sometimes people incorrectly called them "Love birds" which is usually reserved for African species.

I used to have a pair of peach faced lovebirds, they really do best when kept together, my two bred and I had 4 young from one batch  but when I moved house I had to give them away, I saw them last week and they looked very well though, alas the female died and the replacement (a yellow) of course cannot breed with the peach faced lovebird so in a way its a shame but they are not my pets anymore and they seem best of friends

I haven't even shown my bird yet. Here is Smokey and Ringo, my two budgerygars. (In case your wondering how the name 'Smokey' came up, (Its the fat one on the left) I had bought him from a small market, and the person who sold him smoked alot, and all his birds had a strong, 'cigar-like' aroma, so what the hey, I just gave it a quick and easy name. :D As for Ringo, hes still a smaller baby and the name came up from pure thought at the time.
