yep leave till last few seconds, i normally have two open, one with the bid ready to go then another at the side with tht time left, works a dream

I do the same thing. My husband thinks I'm funny, but why should I prematurely push up the price when I can do it right at the end? The only problem now is that with the eBay high bid system, you really have to push it to the last second, so the eBay system can't outbid you with someone else's higher bid.
