Hello all...

I have a bichir that just sits in a floating plant all the time. I actually thought it had been eaten or somethin as I hadn't
saw it for months. But it turned up a couple of weeks ago and looks good. Problem is... I have no idea if its eating or not, when its feeding time, it doesn't move from its we perch at the top of the tank.

I had a pair years ago that used to eat everythin in sight and were bottom dwellers. But met their untimely end when my Oscar ate them (which is why I now no longer keep oscars).

Not really sure on what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Try feed them cut prawns? Mine likes them :D or throw in a bloodworm cube!

I feed them everything from bloodworm to spagetti. It just won't come out to feed for some reason. I'll just keep an eye on it for now bit I'm positive its not eating, certainly not when I'm feeding them anyway.

it will be eating something if you've had it a few months. remember they are nocturnal by nature.
What poly is it btw?

I'v put all sorts of food in, yeh, but still no action.

I havent saw it for about a week now so no idea whats happenin in there. Tomorrow is 'tank cleanin day', so hopeful to catch a glimps of it.

Always4lora... you asked what poly is it? sorry, i dont know what you mean
