mmm, fair enough. I actually compare it to people who are born with a silver spoon and handed everything, they could never survive in 'the real world', much like 97% of show fish. Where as the veil is street smart and tough as nails.

Yes I agree. I have only had weak crowntails that don't live very long, but my vts are all still going strong. I have two dts though, to their credit, they are also hardy. It seems to me that no matter what I did I couldn't make my crownies happy enough to live so I will never buy crowntails again
